The Piper Dash showing occurs near the contact of sedimentary rocks of the Lower Jurassic Takwhoni Formation (Laberge Group) and volcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. A sample was taken from a multidirectional fracture zone with minor malachite and azurite hosted in altered sediments. This sample yield 0.3 per cent copper, 0.05 per cent zinc, 0.017 per cent lead, 1.6 grams per tonne silver and 0.04 per cent arsenic (Assessment Report 22207).

In 1991, Goodgold Resources Ltd. conducted field work consisting of soil sampling (78 samples), 15,000 scale mapping and prospecting. During mapping, samples of altered and mineralized outcrop, (including the multidirectional fracture) were taken (2 samples). Six silt samples were also collected.
